Explore Kim Bong Carpentry Village, a hidden gem of Hoi An, renowned for its traditional crafts and boat-building businesses, and traverse vast rice fields. This special moment will afford you the opportunity to take unforgettable pictures of Vietnam’s rural scenes and people.

 08:30 AM or 2:00 PM: The tour guide will meet you at your hotel and start a cycling tour to explore Tra Nhieu village and Kim Bong Carpentry Village. Learn how wooden fishing boats are made using traditional methods.

Passing peaceful village roads and shady paths, release yourself into peaceful, green fields. It is your great chance to take unforgettable pictures of Vietnamese rural scenes, water buffalo, and local people

Participate in the daily lives of the locals, learn about how to make rice paper, and try your hand at making rice paper – an authentic local experience. Communicate with the locals and learn about the culture here. Immerse yourself in the traditions of the community.

During this trip, you will also learn about the secret to making colorful woven mats that are used to cover the bed and have been used for many generations.

After that, you will experience Vietnam’s unique Thung Chai bamboo basket boat rowing on the river of coconut paradise. And step into the fishing lives of local people on the river.

Lunch with a local house or dinner

12.30 PM or 6:00 PM: After your meal, you will travel back to Hoi An. Tour ends.

TRA NHIEU ECO – COOKING CLASS

(Basket boat, fishing and cooking class experience)

A funny and interesting approach to learn about Vietnamese cuisine and rural life in Hoi An. WHAT YOU’LL DO

8:30 AM or 1:30 PM: Local tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the Hoi An local market. The tour guide will assist you in interacting with the market’s local vendors and will demonstrate how to choose and purchase high-quality produce for your culinary lesson.

The excursion proceeds straight from the market to the bamboo basket boat that travels through the TRA NHIEU Nipa forest’s canals. In addition to enjoying crab fishing, you will be surrounded by the natural splendor of the Nipa palm grove. This is really awesome! You get the opportunity to reflect on the natural beauty of the Vietnamese countryside’s rivers, the customary methods of fishing, and the friendly lives of the local fisherman.

Following these eco-tour activities, you will be greeted at the restaurant and have the opportunity to take part in cooking lessons with our chefs within 2 hours. The chefs will teach you the fundamentals of Vietnamese cooking while also imparting important knowledge about Vietnamese traditional cuisine. After that, you can savor homemade Vietnamese cuisine. You will receive the Cooking Recipes from the class to practice making them at home. At last, return to your hotel.

TRA QUE VEGETABLE VILLAGE – COOKING CLASS

8:45 – 9:00 am: A local guide will meet you at your hotel and provide a bicycle ride to the local market, where you’ll learn about vegetables’ uses in food and medicine. Passing through small roads, rice fields, and taking pictures of buffaloes, cows, or farmers working daily. Explore many beautiful views of the Hoi An countryside and meet many warm-hearted and lovely farmers. Then, visit Tra Que Vegetable Village, a traditional craft village.
10:15 am: At the Tra Que village, you will have a chance to enjoy É Water, a health-promoting tea made from garden herbs. Wear a farmer’s uniform and a conical hat, and experience growing organic vegetables from ancient times.
10:50 am: Returning to the people’s house, you will have your head, shoulders, and feet massaged with herbs from the garden.
11:30 am: After a relaxing massage, you’ll prepare for a cooking class, learning how to make flowers from vegetables such as carrots, tomatoes, and spring onions. Then you will start learning five dishes and eating more rice and stir-fried morning glory with garlic.
Enjoy your lunch after the cooking class (vegetarian is available if requested).
1:30 pm: Take a rest and return to the hotel on your bike
